John Started diving in 1973 and continues with his passion to this day. When not in the shop John can usually be found crawling around deep shipwrecks on his eCCR. As the ‘Old Man’ of the store John is always ready to help newer divers by passing on his wealth of diving knowledge.

Paul Backerra - Sales Manager

Paul began his diving in 1990 and can usually be found behind the counter in the shop and is renowned for providing the best advice on your equipment requirements. When underwater he loves to dive deep and loves to lead our overseas trips where he can get really deep. Here he is trying to light up whilst on a Deco stop.

Rebecca Werchon - Sales Assistant

Bec is studying for her Bachelor of Education but in between her studies Bec is found helping people new to the sport with their equipment purchases. During the summer holidays Bec is our resident Snorkeling Instructor and is to be found teaching children and their parents to snorkel.

Paul Serbo - Instructor - Boat Skipper

'Skip' as Paul is known to most of us has been voted by our divers as the "Most Friendly Skipper in Melbourne". He is always ready to help divers get the most from their boat dives including supplying everyone on board with his "Famous" hot dogs between dives. As a trained Chef Paul often offers dives with a foodies twist, so watch out for his "Skips Big Breakfast" dives as they always fill up fast.

Adrian McDonald - Service Manager - Dive Control Specialist

Adrian began his diving with Dive Experience in 2005 and has become addicted to deep technical diving. When Adrian isn’t busy servicing your regs he loves the warm waters of Vanuatu and diving the President Coolidge. Adrian has recently started driving one of our boats; so you may also find him as the skipper next time you go for a dive.

Shane is a career soldier who has seen first hand what our men and women in Afghanistan and Iraq face every day. When not ensuring the security of of service personnel Shane loves to teach our up and coming dive professionals. If you are interested in becoming a Dive Controller or Instructor Shane is a great person to talk with as he can pass on a wealth of knowledge.

Phillip Wood - Instructor

Phil is well known to many 'Willy' locals through his involvement with the Williamstown Swimming and Lifesaving Club. As a secondary teacher Phil likes nothing better than introducing new scuba students to the wonders of diving.

Jane Mitchell - Instructor

Jane brings a females perspective to learning how to dive. She loves teaching new divers and as a women has a slightly different approach to our male instructors. Having said that there are always a lot of guys on her courses.

Steve Hill - Dive Control Specialist

"The Captain" as Steve is affectionately known as likes nothing better than to escort new divers on a local shore dive. Steve has also recently fallen in love with 'Cave Diving' and can often be found crawling in and out of holes in Mt. Gambier.
